Jerrod and Kate: We are both from the same town...in fact we are high school sweethearts! We have been together for over 13 years and married for over 10. We both agree that in the many good decisions we have made in life, getting married was probably the best! We have a solid marriage in which we hold each other in the highest respect and we are each others' best friend. We are very blessed...but we feel we have been missing something really special...the chance to be parents to a wonderful son/daughter. We are now on the journey of adoption which is why we are creating this blog! We hope that this will help us to find a special relationship with our first child and the birth parents.
